WHO WE ARE
ABOUT US
The South Dakota Reined Cow Horse Association was established in 2001 to promote interest and improve the quality of cow horses in South Dakota. We were developed around a stallion stakes program to promote regional stallions. The stallion stakes originally consisted of 40 stallion slots but has since increase to 45 stallion slots. Our premier show has been a Futurity/Derby that had a main focus on our stallion stakes classes. In the last couple of years, we have continued to grow those classes as well as expanding the regular Futurity/Derby classes. In 2011, we added a Derby show earlier in the summer and continue to work at expanding that show as well. Our shows have mostly taken place in Rapid City, South Dakota. Our future goals include expanding the regular NRCHA show classes.

PROMOTE LOCAL COW HORSE STALLIONS
STALLION STAKES
The SDRCHA Stallion Stakes has been going on since the club's inception in 2001. It began as a way to promote local cow horse stallions. It has since been opened up to include NRCHA regional stallions. All money from the stallion stakes slots goes into the payouts for the stallion stakes futurity/derby classes.
